Abby Robinson, LCSW

In addition to a Master’s degree from the University of Chicago School of Social Service Administration, Abby has years of experience working with children of all ages, with special training in working with young children and teens. Her professional experiences range from clinic settings with children, adults and families in distress to residential treatment settings for troubled youth.

Abby is able to help families struggling with conflict, emotional and behavioral symptoms, depression, anxiety, mood disorders, self esteem, peer issues and academic performance. She has particular experience in helping families and children with recovery from chronic stress and trauma, and is trained in, and has met all qualifications to call herself a provider of the evidence-based practice of Child Parent Psychotherapy.

The need for care and connection is greater than ever during these unprecedented times brought on by the COVID-19 pandemic.  While we cannot meet people in person, we are currently offering secure video or phone sessions that many insurance companies have agreed to cover due to the unique circumstances.
