Coping with Grief and Loss

One possible consequence of trauma is loss—of safety, of life, of relationships. Our therapists understand that an important step in the healing process is the compassionate acknowledgment of and grieving for losses.

Additionally, we believe that losses themselves can be traumatic. Trauma comes in many forms, including losses—of loved ones, relationships, or a current pathway in our lives. Through our understanding of trauma, we can help you ease the pain of loss. Each person's loss is personal. We will help you move through your own stages of grief, understanding and coping with the emotional and physical manifestations of the pain.
